COVID-19 safety

We are part of Visit Scotland’s “Good to Go” scheme and we have developed additional cancellation and refund policies to help guests during these challenging times.  We have strict COVID safe measures in place to keep our guests and staff safe.  We ask that all guests are responsible for adhering to current Scottish Government guidelines prevailing at the time of your stay.

COVID booking security

The Mossyard Payment Guarantee is in place to protect your holiday if COVID-19 restrictions affect your booking.  Under this guarantee your booking can be rescheduled should Government restrictions prevent you travelling to Mossyard or prevents us being able to welcome you to Mossyard.  In the event of either you will receive a full refund on any payments made or offered a transfer to future dates.  Please note all deferred bookings are transferable for up to 18 months from booking date and any rebooked dates will be subject to availability and seasonal price variations may apply.  


Mossyard supports all Government directives in line with COVID-19 guidance and site rules are adapted accordingly to ensure the safety of guests and staff.  In support of Government directives, Mossyard reserves the right to defer any bookings as required by lockdown regulations as stated by the Scottish Government regarding non essential travel.  This is in the interest of public safety and COVID-19 transmission reduction.

All guests are advised to follow all government guidelines.  You must advise us as soon as possible if your area is affected by any restrictions that may impact your booking.  Late notice may result in your booking not being able to be deferred.  If we find that you are travelling from an area affected by restrictions, we reserve the right to refuse you access to site.

COVID regulations

Please do not travel to Mossyard if you are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in contact with anyone who has had a positive test.

If any guest becomes ill while on site and exhibits any symptoms of COVID-19 they MUST immediately notify us by phone and then leave the site (along with all members of the group/family) and self isolate at home as per Government guidance.

In the circumstance that a positive COVID-19 test result is confirmed, guests must inform the site immediately to enable track and trace to be initiated.

Guests musts practice social distancing on site and follow instructions on communal facilities usage.  Communal areas are mandatory face mask areas - please always carry a face mask and wear this as necessary.

Children must always be supervised on site to ensure they are abiding by social distancing guidance.

Please follow hand washing guidance.

The failure of any guests to abide by any instructed or noted safety rules will be asked to leave site and no refunds will be issued.  Please understand any instructions are in the interest of public safety.
